What Is Included in Our Quartz Epoxy Flooring

Our quartz epoxy flooring is a multi-layer coating system designed to create a durable, seamless surface over properly prepared concrete. The system combines epoxy resin with quartz aggregate to provide a strong, textured finish suitable for environments where heavy traffic, moisture, impact, cleaning, and daily operational demands can quickly wear down conventional floors.

We install quartz epoxy floors for commercial and industrial facilities with systems selected around the specific requirements of each space.

Complete Surface Preparation

We mechanically prepare the concrete using professional grinding equipment to remove contaminants, weak surface material, old coatings, and other conditions that can interfere with adhesion. Cracks, damaged areas, and surface imperfections are also addressed before the coating system is installed.

We apply a high-performance epoxy base coat across the properly prepared concrete. This creates the foundation of the quartz epoxy system and provides the bonding layer needed to hold the quartz aggregate securely within the flooring system.

Selected quartz aggregate is broadcast into the wet epoxy base coat to create the characteristic textured surface. The aggregate size, coverage, and system build can be selected according to the facility’s traffic levels, operational requirements, and desired finish.

A durable protective topcoat is applied over the quartz surface to lock in the aggregate and complete the flooring system. The final coating helps protect against everyday wear while making the finished floor easier to clean and maintain.

Common Questions

Frequently Asked
Questions

What is quartz epoxy flooring and how does it work?

Quartz epoxy flooring is a multi-layer flooring system that combines high-performance epoxy resin with graded quartz aggregate. The epoxy bonds to the prepared concrete while the quartz is broadcast into the coating to create a durable, textured surface. A protective topcoat is then applied to complete the system and protect the finished floor.

Yes. Quartz epoxy flooring is designed for demanding environments and can be built to handle regular foot traffic, carts, equipment, and other daily operational demands. The appropriate system is selected based on factors such as traffic levels, equipment use, facility conditions, and the intended application.

The quartz aggregate creates a textured surface that can provide added traction compared with a smooth epoxy coating. The level of texture can be adjusted according to the requirements of the facility and the conditions in which the floor will be used.

The concrete needs to be properly assessed and prepared before installation. Cracks, damaged areas, surface imperfections, and other issues are addressed during the preparation stage. This helps create a stable surface for the quartz epoxy system and supports proper adhesion and long-term performance.

Installation time depends on the size of the facility, existing concrete condition, preparation requirements, selected flooring system, and curing requirements. During the free on-site consultation, we assess the space and provide a clearer installation schedule based on the project’s specific requirements.

Yes. The seamless finished surface helps make routine cleaning and maintenance easier compared with unfinished or heavily deteriorated concrete. Regular cleaning practices will depend on the type of facility, traffic, contaminants, and operational requirements.

Yes. We provide free on-site consultations for commercial and industrial flooring projects. We assess the existing concrete, discuss your facility’s requirements, recommend an appropriate quartz epoxy flooring system, and provide transparent pricing before work begins.
